This website and the content of this website may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, or otherwise exploited for any purpose, unless specifically authorized by law or in writing by Creation Gallery.
For commissioned pieces, the copyright remains with the artist and fashion illustrator, Nina C Melius, unless the copyright for the artwork is signed over to the person or company who commissioned it.
Copyright and Original Works of Art
Buying an original painting or fashion illustration assumes that you buy the physical object to have and enjoy. You own the artwork, not the copyright to it.
The copyright remains with Nina C Melius unless:

They specifically signed over their copyright to the buyer via collaboration.

The copyright has expired.
Unless one of these circumstances applies, the original piece buyer does not automatically acquire the right to reproduce a painting as prints, cards, posters, on clothing, etc, when they purchase a painting - you're acquiring the right to own and enjoy the item but not the right to reproduce it.
This contract is governed by the laws of Saint Lucia and other laws which are applicable in the country where the consumer is a resident.
